Followed directions. Program installed and activated off line. Modified Hosts file as directed.
Repeat! Program was successfully activated.
Now getting message "Serial Number Revoked".
Just curious... if this torrent doesn't work then why are people still downloading it even 8 months later?

People... please respond with positive and negative comments "PLUS" what OS and Mac your are using.

Cheers!
BTW... I got this to work on my 2007 MBP w/ OS 10.6.8. I'm no computer genius but I read the attached info and it works great!
I also got to upgrade it to v11.0.03.37.
Cheers Ching Liu!!!!

Instructions on INSTALL.txt were somewhat faulty. Followed "jscratch3" instructions and got it to work. I'm running iMac OS X 10.8.4

-------- FROM jscratch3---------
followed all steps and still had problems. finally figured it out. here's how i got it working:
1. disconnect internet
2. DO NOT MODIFY HOST FILE FIRST! This should be the last step. for some reason when i did this, it did not give me an option to "CONNECT LATER" when entering the serial.
3. install acrobat as trial
4. launch acrobat
5. launch key gen x-force
6. generate serial and copy

Important! avoid typing serial/request/activation code in. Use copy and paste. for some reason i couldn't use Command+C/V in the x-force app. use right click then copy/paste which works. The request & activation codes are long and i was having problems distinguishing between lower case l's & capital I's also capital letter O's and the number 0. anyhow you get the point (use copy and paste).

7. in acrobat enter serial
8. select "connect later"
9. close app (Command+Q)
10. re-open app
11. wait about 30 seconds, then click product registration under the top Help menu
12. click "having internet problems"
13. offline activation
14. copy request code and paste in key gen
15. click "gen activation"
16. copy activation code and paste back in acrobat xi.
17. product should now be activated.
18. before connecting to internet...now modify host file (instructions included in install.txt)
19. enable internet and you should be good to go.
I need help in step 7 of instaltt.

Went into the terminal but it didn't seem to work.

Couldn't find described host files. Please repeat instructions with step by step clarity a 7 year old could follow.

Thanks
Hello!
If I have those entries : 127.0.0.1 lmlicenses.wip4.adobe.com and 127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com, What I have to do, to borrow them ? Thanks
Really I'd like everything ok.
4 : OK
5 :here it's the problem. I tried before and I din't succed it. Acrobat is with 0 day. I must activ the license. I pressed Gen.serial, I copy and past it and Adobe tell me he can't valid this serial number. So I can't pass to 8. I am really sorry.
Hello!
If you have a problem, may be this can help you.
My trial version was 00day
Following the helps here, impossible to pass the seventh step of jscratch3.
So, I uninstalled with adobe uninstaller and I followed the xintbp at 2012-11-08 15:32 CET: Instructions, but without success. So I unisntal one more time. I re-install disconected from Internet.
Before the step 1, I borrow the lines Adobe blocker in the hosts file. I succeed until the step 16. I put back the adobe blocker. I connect after to internet and I tried to pass to the 11.0.3 version. Impossible.
I borrow the lines of adobe blocker but it is the same.
I borrow the little snitch protections with Adobe and it is the same. I can't access to the Adobe server error 1000.

Please, if you have a solution, many thanks.

It's very easy. But at first it would be better to find on Internet "How to edit and modify Host Database". After that you applied here with sudo pico /etc/hosts in the terminal.
To modify you have to use arrows to move in the text and come back on every word selected to borrow it.
Ok ?
Installation instruction 7 is complicated and confusing. Even when I figured it out, I find the serial number is 'revoked'.
Received update to 11.0.4 via the Adobe Update Manager, still working fine.

PLEASE NOTE: If you already have CS or another Adobe product installed with a non-legit password, YOU MUST REMOVE adobe stuff from the /etc/hosts file, or the installer will claim that the serial is invalid. This is JUST to throw you off — what it's really saying, is haha, I can see that you've tampered with the hosts file, so now the joke is on you!

Uncommenting lines with adobe in them in the hosts file is NOT enough — just rename "adobe" to "bingo" or something untill you've installed Acrobat. But make sure NOT to be online while installing.
hi
after instalation
when i terminal to sudo nano /private/etc/hosts i cant see

127.0.0.1 lmlicenses.wip4.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com

i can only see
127.0.0.1 localhosts
255.255.255.255 broadhosts
::1 loca host
fe80::1&lo0 localhost

what can i do???
Ok. I have read and followed the instructions but somehow, software stopped working. I tried to install and uninstall (I have removed ALL acrobat related files, folders and it is not working (serial won't work). Can someone help?
Your torrent is a piece of shit! After I just finished installing a full adobe cloud erasing the host files fucked up my whole adobe system thanks!!!
DO NOT USE THIS TORRENT!!!
Thanks jscratch3 for the instructions. I would add for your point 18 the following as the instruction on how to modify the host file are not really clear:

-Open Terminal (Spotlight search Terminal)
-Write: sudo nano /private/etc/hosts
-Add text below hosts file:

# Adobe Blocker

127.0.0.1 lmlicenses.wip4.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com

-click Ctrl-X then save over Host file

Made a mistake in my previous comment,

It's Ctrl-O to WriteOut, then Ctrl-T To Files then select Hosts and click Enter

Then Ctrl-X to Exit
